As part of our continuing efforts to expand our capabilities and serve our customers in new and exciting ways, Roller Die + Forming has purchased a new 3” mill, allowing us to run more heavy gauge materials through the roll forming process. We are excited to offer this increased ability to our customers, many of whom have parts for both lighter and heavier processes.
Our engineering team is excited to work with the new line, which currently allows us to roll material thickness up to 0.250” in certain shapes. We will continue to expand our Standard Tooling Library to take advantage of this new capability. Customers often find that taking advantage of existing tooling is a great way to cut their up-front costs when starting a new product line.
If you’re interested in heavy gauge, our experienced sales team would be happy to discuss both our existing and new lines and how Roller Die + Forming can help your business make parts in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
Our engineering team has worked on parts from many different industries including major appliance, office systems, heavy truck and trailer, rail, material handling, medical equipment, fencing and automotive. In addition to designing and building our tooling in-house, giving us a cost advantage in the up-front tooling investment, we’re also able to service our tooling in-house, meaning that we stay on top of maintenance and are able to keep our lines running and your parts flowing out the door just in time.
