With gas prices going up, Roller Die + Forming CEO Ray Hammons decided to step in and help employees cover their costs. All full time hourly employees begin receiving their “Gas Bonus” in mid-March, an extra $50 per week for every week an employee worked their full schedule, to help offset the costs of driving to and from work. For now, the bonus program is set to continue through the summer, when gas prices are traditionally higher.
“Our employees are a critical part of our team and they work hard to ensure that our customers parts are high quality and on time,” said Roller Die VP of Human Resources Greg Nunnelley. “We know everyone is feeling the pinch of rising prices and supply shortages and wanted to do what we can to help offset the situation.” The team has worked tirelessly through the pandemic meeting customer demand and working to ensure that it isn’t the Roller Die plants causing supply chain issues. One plant even worked on Thanksgiving to get parts out in time.
Parts made by the Roller Die + Forming team have gone into hospital beds supporting COVID patients, trucks that are driving goods across the country, solar racks helping improve the energy infrastructure, and many other important applications.
