The team at Roller Die + Forming has been closely watching the development of the coronavirus. Our hearts go out to the people in China and other countries already struggling with this outbreak. In a global world, events on the other side of the globe can have effects all the way around. We understand that the uncertainty of living in quarantine, the stress of missing work, and the true pain of losing those you love is challenging.

Working in stressful conditions such as this virus, where so much is unknown, can be hard. Roller Die made a donation to Direct Relief to ensure that healthcare workers responding to the outbreak in the heart of China will have access to the safety and personal protection equipment they need. Direct Relief isproviding workers with surgical and respirator masks, gloves, gowns, and other items as requested by the hospitals and medical personnel.

While we wait to see how the repercussions of the coronavirus play out, the team at Roller Die is paying close attention to the spread of the virus and other ways they may be able to help. Even with governments stepping in to help, the impacts will be significant. It is when people are faced with a true tragedy and come together to try and stop the problem, both with the help of the government and through actions of their own, that the best of humanity can be seen.

We hope that the outbreak is contained and the fearless doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals on the front lines remain safe. While we will be sending our thoughts and prayers to those impacted by this virus, we will continue to do what we can to help and support the global response. Private funding is one way we can help organizations that step in to fill the gaps in the government’s response.

Sincerely,

H. Ray Hammons, CEO
